25 Feb 2013-  Globe Telecom is currently being interconnected to the Southeast Asia-Japan Cable System (SJC), an international submarine cable system operated by a global consortium of telecommunications and technology companies with its landing in Nasugbu, Batangas last Feb. 10. Measuring 8,900 kilometers that could extend up to 10,700 kms, the SJC will support an initial design capacity of over 15 terabits per second, equivalent to 1.8 million to 2.3 million simultaneous HD videos streaming.
